Every year, CMAC hosts a Christmas party for our members and their
families. It is a fun, relaxed day with plenty of food, novelties for the kids and a load
of 'bench racing'. Check out Christmas '97

This is the 'food hall' for the day. The Club's protective shelter is a welcome haven
out of the sun, especially as the screening trees have grown enough to shade it nicely. |

The 'lolly-drop' was so successful last year, that we did it again. This shot shows
the flight line turned into a starting line for the race to the goodies. All eyes follow
the 'Lolly Bomber' - the hatch is just
starting to open! |

This is Heinz Galow's Piper Cub fitted with a 'bomb bay'. Just fill with wrapped
lollies, belt down the strip at low altitude and open the hatch. The kids do the clean-up work as well as ensuring the load is the correct weight! |
