Christmas Party 1998


Every year, CMAC hosts a Christmas party for our members and their families. It is a fun, relaxed day with plenty of food, novelties for the kids and a load of 'bench racing'. Check out Christmas '97

Photo by Peter Whitby The 'lolly-drop' was so successful last year, that we did it again. This shot shows the flight line turned into a starting line for the race to the goodies. All eyes follow the 'Lolly Bomber' - the hatch is just  starting to open!

Photo by Peter Whitby This is Heinz Galow's Piper Cub fitted with a 'bomb bay'. Just fill with wrapped lollies, belt down the strip at low altitude and open the hatch. The kids do the clean-up work as well as ensuring the load is the correct weight!
