T28BOwner/Builder: Bob Faram
Span: 68" The Dave Platt plan was used to construct a fibreglass fuselage in the now typical Bob Faram fashion. Bob built a fuselage from the plan, finished it to 'plug' standard so that a mould could be created, then created a fibreglass fuselage for the aeroplane you see above. The wings are built up with a covering of 3/4oz fibreglass cloth. Bob's comment on the flying characteristics of this aircraft is "beautiful to fly". |
